I recently learned that this coming Sunday is World Creativity & Innovation Day. Fabulous!
The purpose for World Creativity and Innovation Day was, and still is, to remind and encourage people to use their creativity to make the world a better place and to make their place in the world better, too.
Even better, THIS year, it has been expanded to a whole week.
WCID (week!) begins on Leonardo da Vinci’s birthday – April 15 – and continues to World Creativity and Innovation Day, April 21, every year.
“To develop great, innovative products or services that are sustainable and life giving, you have to use your creativeness.”
What will you do this year to expand and share your creativity? Play in the mud? Make sandcastles? Paint your own masterpiece? Try out a crazy new haircolor? Improvise a new piece on your favorite instrument? Gift a secret gift that inspires a loved one? Create some new masterpiece in the kitchen? Craft a new mobile app?
Whatever your creative outlet, I hope you explore the world a bit on Sunday to inspire something new in you – to create something new that you can offer the world.
